With over 25 years IT experience, Phillip Knight is a highly passionate and proficient governance, risk and compliance (GRC) practitioner specialising in business continuity (BC), and information security (IS). In his career, he has been involved in implementing and maintaining in excess of 20 BC and IS management systems. Holding the Practitioner Certificate in Business Continuity Management (PCBCM), Phillip is a Senior Consultant at URM where he has successfully led a number of high-profile BC improvement projects and ISO 22301 certifications. Phillip is comfortable with all stages of the BC lifecycle and has worked closely with many clients to improve their BC position through conducting business impact analyses and strategy reviews in order to establish appropriate and meaningful BC plans. Another noteworthy strength is his ability to develop and deliver realistic and challenging scenario-based BC exercises, invariably to senior management audiences in public and private sector organisations.
