Business Continuity Training Courses

Business continuity management (BCM) focuses on building organisational resilience against a range of threats so that organisations can respond effectively to incidents, maintain the availability of business operations and safeguard its interests. URM can assist you in developing your business continuity management capabilities through consultancy, our purpose designed business impact analysis and risk assessment tool (Abriska) and through our training courses, most notably the Practitioner Certificate in Business Continuity Management (PCBCM). With this course, you will not only develop your BCM skills but will be able to gain a certificate to demonstrate your competence.

Professional Certification Courses

The IISP has verified that the course meets the claimed competency level against IISP's Skills Framework. The IISP assessor's comment was "This appears to be a good, well rounded course on business continuity management, with a coverage of the wider topic area and a realistic level of testing and validation."

Found practical work really good - it helped to enforce the theory. Right amount of theory, practical with real life stories. Really good course pack and exercises. Level of real life examples exceeded expectations.

Public course 2017

Having sat the PCBCM training course, you will be able to return to your organisation and make a significant contribution to the business continuity management process. You will also be fully prepared to take and pass the PCBCM examination (which is taken on the Friday afternoon and invigilated by the BCS) and comprises scenario-based, multi choice and short-answer questions.

BIA and risk assessment exceeded expectations. Case study very useful in reinforcing theory and application. Enthused to go back to office and apply learning immediately. Excellent delivery from the trainer.
