URM is pleased to announce its appointment as a Cyber Essentials certification body by APMG, one of the UK Government approved accreditation bodies. The Cyber Essentials scheme is a cyber security standard, which identifies security controls that an organisation must have in place within its IT systems. Gaining certification provides confidence and reassurance that cyber security is being addressed effectively and the risks from Internet-based threats are being mitigated. The process for achieving certification is straightforward and involves completing a self-assessment questionnaire which is then verified by a certification body.
