URM is delighted to announce that two of its established and popular information security and risk management training courses are eligible under the Tech Partnership Training Fund. The objective of the Training Fund is to provide employers with funding to invest in IT training which will support business growth and competitiveness. By providing grants, the Government, via the Tech Partnership, is aiming to encourage organisations to improve skills in key strategic areas such as cyber security, Cloud computing and big data.
The two URM training courses which are eligible for funding are the:
- 5 day BCS Certificate in Information Security Management Principles (CISMP)
- 5 day BCS Practitioner Certificate in Information Risk Management (PCIRM)
As well as being accredited by the BCS, both courses have been accredited by the Institute of Information Security Professionals (CIISec). In addition, URM’s CISMP Course was one of the first courses in the UK to be accredited as part of CESG’S Certified Training (CCT) Scheme.
