In particular, it is their 'real-world' practical experience allied with their in-depth knowledge of current and forthcoming legislation and Information Security Standards, that differentiates them from their peers. URM is constantly looking for high calibre candidates to join its team.

URM is particularly interested in hearing from individuals with a number of years experience in the following areas:

  • Information Security (ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
  • Formal risk management
  • ISO 27002:2013 compliance using Plan, Do, Check, Act and/or ISO 27001:2013 certification
  • Corporate governance
  • Business continuity (ISO 22301)
  • Data protection
  • Freedom of Information

With regard to inter personal qualities, candidates are expected to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should feel equally comfortable working individually or as part of a team and be prepared to accept and deliver constructive reviews of project work. Good presentational skills would be a distinct advantage.

The possession of CLAS accreditation would be particularly advantageous as would any security qualification and a security clearance.
